House

The CEMS House Committee will help to keep both the interior and exterior of the of the house clean and maintained for the use of our paid staff and volunteers.  Duties will include cleaning, tracking household supplies, and maintaining common areas.

Long Term Planning

Ensure the long-term sustainability and success of Croton EMS by: 1) Encouraging active participation of all members, 2) Attracting new members (Adult and Youth Corps), and 3) Maintaining a positive and professional image of Croton EMS.

Driver Training

Responsible for the safety and proper training of drivers for emergency vehicle operations as well as proper rig checks.

Scholarship

Establish a scholarship in memory of Charles J Ellison.Determine operating guidelines for the scholarship.  (This includes defining:  (a) the objectives for the scholarship, and (b) the criteria for selecting the recipients.) Oversee implementation of the scholarship once it’s established.

Membership

The membership committee aims to attract new members and provide a smooth transition into the organization. We conduct membership interviews and present each potential new member to the rest of the membership for approval and voting.
